General comments
Antibiotica in combinatie met verbetering speekselafvloed.
Naast S. aureus zijn ook vaak anaerobe micro-organismen betrokken bij een bacteriële parotitis. Indien er gestart wordt met flucloxacilline overweeg combinatie met metronidazol po 500 mg 3dd 7-14 dagen (augementin en clindamycine hebben al een voldoende anaeroob spectrum).
