	Medication: cotrimoxazol (trimethoprim +sulfamethoxazol) iv 1920mg 3dd 21 days	Remarks: Milde gevallen evt. per os. Bij mild klinisch beeld kan een behandeling van 14 dagen overwogen worden.
	Medication: cotrimoxazol (trimethoprim +sulfamethoxazol) iv 1440mg 3dd 21 days	Remarks: Gewicht < 50 kg Milde gevallen evt. per os Bij mild klinisch beeld kan een behandeling van 14 dagen overwogen worden.
	Medication: trimethoprim po 300mg 3dd 21 days + dapsone po 100mg 1dd 21 days	Remarks: overgevoeligheid co-trimoxazol
	Medication: clindamycine iv 600mg 3dd 21 days + primaquine po 30mg 1dd 21 days	Remarks: overgevoeligheid co-trimoxazol
	Medication: atovaquon po 750mg 2dd 21 days	Remarks: suspensie, innemen met voedsel; alleen bij niet ernstige PCP
	Medication: pentamidine iv 4mg/kg 1dd 21 days	Remarks: laatste lijn

Bij pO2 < 70 mm Hg of 8-9 kPa toevoegen prednison:

dag 1-5 2 dd 40 mg;
dag 6-10 2 dd 20 mg;
dag 11-14 1 dd 20 mg

Na behandeling secundaire profylaxe - Co-trimoxazol po 480 mg 1dd of Pentamidine 300 mg vernevelen (in 6 ml steriel water) 1x per 4 weken

Co-trimoxazol in hoge dosering - Controle van sulfamethoxazolspiegel (overleg ziekenhuisapotheker)

Dapsone en Primaquine - G-6PD deficiëntie uitsluiten (ivm hemolyse)

Pentamidine - In > 2 uur infunderen, controle bloeddruk, nierfunctie, glucose, bloedbeeld
